Margaret Lalich's profile

Margaret Lalich is a believer, a lover (family, friends and others), a relentless optimist, and a Certified Laughter Leader. She completed her M.S. and M.A. degrees plus a 31-year career as a clinician and teacher, within mental health. She co-developed and taught a curriculum in mental health recovery skills - serving more than a thousand patients so far. Laughter and tears are both found in experience. Tears can wash away emotional rubble, and laughter can be a ‘bungee-cord’ safety-line. If we fall into a pit of despair " it can help us rebound and boosts our climb. Margaret loves to share it. Her book OVERCOME DEPRESSION: Strategies from Science & Scripture (2019) is a reader-friendly, faith-based, self-help resource for those who struggle with depression and want to develop recovery skills. More than 100 powerful practical strategies, and evidence-based therapies are presented. It’s not psycho-therapy " it IS skill building. Margaret writes to offer encouragement and to share experience, science, strategies, and HOPE. She wants to connect with others -- helping them find (and use) their gifts to live their own definition of ‘success’ " to the Glory of God.
